In an increasingly globalizing knowledge-base society,nothing is more Important to an individual or a nation than a high-quality, flexible and responsive education system. Vocational education and training or TVET is a vital part of this system because it provides a whole-or-life template for a knowledge society. In Bangladesh, there are government polytechnic institutes that currently provide three-year diploma programs in various subjects. But their diploma programs are mostly traditional and locally geared and do not have global recognition. Also, they deliver their programs in native Bangla Language. Therefore,after passing from these institutes, graduates find it extremely difficult to find a job in the local market and in transferring to higher education institutions at home and abroad. As mentioned before, we need a system that must be flexible and responsive.
